Magic vs. 76ers Preview: Injury-Riddled Orlando Seeking Second Straight Win

Can the Orlando Magic beat the Philadelphia 76ers for their second win in a row? Can they do it with an injury list that now includes Glen Davis?

The Orlando Magic have already beaten the Philadelphia 76ers twice in three games this season. For a third win, beleaguered coach Steve Van Gundy will have to rally a team missing more than one of its top players.

Dwight Howard is out with a herniated disc in his back. The Magic clinched a playoff berth with a Sunday win over the Cavaliers, but Howard's injury could leave them shorthanded down the stretch and into the postseason. In that same win over the Cavs, the Magic lost center Glen Davis to a hyperextended knee. Fortunately for the team, Davis' injury is a mild one, and he could be back sooner rather than later. Hedo Turkoglu is out with a facial fracture.

In order to beat the Sixers, they need a big game from Daniel Orton, taking over starting duties from Davis. Orton will be matched up against Philadelphia's Elton Brand.

Jameer Nelson powered the team through Sunday's win with 21 points and nine assists. Ryan Anderson is averaging more than 18 points in his last five against Philly.

The 76ers lost to the New Jersey Nets in their last game.
