The Dwight Howard-less Orlando Magic will open up the playoffs on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers. How did they do against Indiana this season?
The Orlando Magic have a tall order going into the postseason as Dwight Howard is out with his back injury. They will have to play the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. That series will start on Saturday, April 28 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, In.
The Magic are 3-1 against the Pacers this season, but those four games were all with Howard playing. The lone game that the Pacers won in 2012 was a 106-85 victory on January 29 at the Amway Center. The Magic defense allowed the Pacers to shoot 51.1 percent from the field, hitting eight three pointers and outrebounding the Magic 43-33.
The remainder of the playoff series schedule will be announced after Thursday, the final day in the NBA regular season.
