The Orlando Magic have been on the search for a new general manager ever since the team parted ways with Otis Smith, and according to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! they might have finally settled on Oklahoma City Thunder assistant general manager Rob Hennigan.

Hennigan is part of the Thunder management team that virtually built their team in the NBA draft and not through free agency. The team picked the majority of their super stars in James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook in the NBA draft and seldom made big trades. Orlando is a smaller market team like the Thunder, so it makes sense to model their rebuilding process in the same way and with some of the same people.
