The Orlando Magic were reportedly in "advanced talks" with Oklahoma City Thunder assistant general manager Rob Hannigan on Wednesday afternoon. The two sides were able to agree to terms however shortly after, according to a report.
Update: The #Magic and new GM Rob Hennigan have agreed to contract terms, according to a league source.— Ken Berger (@KBergCBS) June 20, 2012
Hannigan has no track record as the man in charge, but he was a part of the process in the building of one of the teams currently in the NBA finals, a team that was predominantly built through the NBA draft. Now that the Magic have hired a general manager however, they can now get Hannigan to work on finding a new head coach and deciding what the team will do with star center Dwight Howard.
