Adonal Foyle Relieved Of Director Of Player Development Position

Stay connected for news and updates

On Thursday, June 21, Rob Hennigan was named the new general manager of the Orlando Magic and spent very little time cleaning house. On Monday, Hennigan fired assistant general manager Dave Twardzik and five members of the Magic scouting department. The house cleaning continued on Tuesday with the firing of director of player development, Adonal Foyle.

Foyle, a native of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, was hired to the position in September 2010, just one month after he retired from the NBA. As a player, Foyle played 13 seasons in the NBA while spending most of the final three years of his career with the Magic.
