Dwight Howard Trade Would Need To Include Jason Richardson, According To Report

With the rumors of a possible trade including Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard heating up, the Orlando Magic are trying to make their end of the deal as appealing as possible. According to a tweet by Jarrod Rudolph from RealGM.com, the Magic would have to package Jason Richardson in a trade that will ship Howard out of town.

As this continues on, there is one player that the Magic do have their eye on when it comes to trading is Los Angeles Lakers forward Andrew Bynum. The two teams have begun talking to one another about a possible deal and do plan to talk further, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Lakers would have to to take Richardson's contract in addition to Howard's to have this trade possibly go through. If the Magic are able to free up the cap space with this deal, they could quickly retool their team through free agency and regain their status as contenders.
