NCAA Tournament 2012, Ohio Vs. USF Score Update: Bulls Lead 27-23 At The Half

Stay connected for news and updates

As expected, the Ohio Bobcats and South Florida Bulls are in a defensive struggle, with the Bulls leading 27-23 at halftime.

After a hot start for Ohio, the Bulls were able to put the defensive clamps down on Ohio, as the Bobcats went nearly seven minutes without a basket at one point in the half.

The Bulls have also seen great success inside, with forward Augustus Gilchrist leading the team with eight points and fellow big man Victor Rudd Jr. chiming in with seven points.

For Ohio, they have struggled to put together any offense consistently. Walter Offutt and D.J. Cooper lead with eight points each, and are shooting fairly well from the field. The Bobcats will need to keep getting them the ball if they want to pull the upset.
