Bucs Expect All Home Games To Be Blacked Out

You may never be able to watch another Bucs game on TV.

Here’s the quote from Bucs PR guy Jonathan Grella:

“We are expecting a blackout for this (the Saints game) and the remaining slate of home games.”

The Buccaneers don’t plan on helping:

The team buying unsold tickets to prevent future blackouts is not a solution, Grella said.

It’s not unique to Tampa Bay.

Local television blackouts tied to slow ticket sales have hit the Oakland Raiders, the San Diego Chargers and the Buffalo Bills, NFL spokesman Dan Masonson said. The Rams are also on the blackout bubble.
