Colts Vs. Buccaneers: Tampa Bay Responds To Tie It At 17, After Third Quarter

Stay connected for news and updates

Josh Freeman quickly led the Buccaneers down the field to even the game at 17 before the end of the third quarter. The drive was an impressive response to the Colts quick strike Pierre Garcon 59 yard touchdown. It finished with a 13 yard pass to Preston Parker, who dashed across the field and just past the pylon into the corner of the end zone.

Parker is having a big night, with four catches for 58 yards and the Bucs second touchdown. Josh Freeman has spread the ball around against a banged up and confused Indy secondary, throwing it a whopping 37 times through three quarters. He has 23 completions for 269 yards already.

The Bucs scored on two of their three possessions in the quarter, eliminating some of the penalties that crippled their scoring chances in the first half. They committed only one penalty in the third quarter, after nine in the first half.

They start the fourth quarter with the momentum on their side and a sold out Raymond James Stadium looking to carry them to a win on national TV.
