Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cut Two, Hint At Defensive Line

After last night's 29-24 loss to the Redskins, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are starting to trim their roster down to its final state. All teams must trim their roster to 53 players by the Sunday night deadline, and the Bucs have already started by cutting DE Kyle Moore and MLB Tyrone McKenzie

There are also rumors circulating the the Bucs have cut DT John McCargo and backup quarterbacks Rudy Carpenter and Jonathan Crompton. These reports have yet to be confirmed, but would make sense considering the Bucs only need one backup quarterback to start the season.

Also, in a press conference today, coach Raheem Morris hinted at the depth chart for his defensive line. There has been much speculation about how the Bucs' defense would shake out, considering there are still numerous defenders on the roster, and few cuts have been made so far. But here's the depth chart that Morris hinted at, compiled by the folks at Bucs Nation:

Right Defensive End: Adrian Clayborn, Tim Crowder, Dekoda Watson (passing downs)
Undertackle: Gerald McCoy, Frank Okam
Nose Tackle: Roy Miller, Brian Price, Frank Okam
Left Defensive End: Michael Bennett, Da'Quan Bowers, George Johnson

The Buccaneers still have plenty of roster cuts to make, and as stated above, the deadline is Sunday at 6pm.
