Buccaneers vs. Chiefs score: Vincent Jackson strikes, Ronde Barber scores, Tampa Bay leads

Stay connected for news and updates

It was a close game in Tampa at halftime with the Buccaneers leading the Chiefs by just a 7-3 margin.

But after the third quarter, it wasn't.

The Bucs broke open the game thanks to a touchdown catch from Vincent Jackson and a pick-six from Ronde Barber that made it 21-3 heading into the fourth quarter.

On Tampa Bay's first drive of the second half, Jackson broke open over the middle and shimmied into the end zone for his third touchdown of the year to cap off a four-play, 80-yard drive. Doug Martin had a 42-yard catch and run on a screen pass from Josh Freeman to set up the Jackson score.

The points kept on coming for Tampa when Ronde Barber grabbed his 45th career interception and took it in for a touchdown. Brady Quinn's pass popped up into the air off Dexter McCluster's forearm and into Barber's arms for the easy score.

The pick-six marked Barber's 12th career fumble or interception return touchdown.

Here's a gif of Jackson's touchdown catch:
