Bruce Kluckhohn-US PRESSWIRE

The Oakland Raiders are the narrow favorites in their Week 9 contest with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Week 9 matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders is a matchup nearly too close to call, with the latest odds showing the Raiders favored by just one point.

The total for the game is 46.5 points, a mark the Raiders have hit in only three of their seven games. The Bucs have combined for at least 47 points four times. With both teams having big weaknesses on defense, the game might see some big offensive gains. Tampa Bay is 31st in the league against the pass, giving up 309.6 yards per game, facing an Oakland air game averaging 264 yards per game, 10th in the league.

Tampa Bay is 5-2 against the spread this season, and Oakland's ATS record is 3-4. Tampa Bay has hit the over in five of their seven games, while Oakland has come over three times, under three times and tied once. The Bucs are trying for their second road win in a row after snapping a nine-game road loss streak in their 36-17 Week 8 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Oakland will be going for their third straight win after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars at home and the Kansas City Chiefs on the road.
