Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Eric Wright left Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers with an ankle injury.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came away from their thrilling 27-21 overtime victory over the Carolina Panthers mostly unscathed, but the Bucs did lose cornerback Eric Wright to an ankle injury.
Wright injured his left ankle in the second half of the win and did not return. If the cornerback has to miss any time, it would be a tough loss for Tampa Bay, as they face two strong passing offenses in the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos in the coming weeks. Wright is questionable for Week 12 against Atlanta.
There were some injury concerns on the offensive line heading into Sunday's game against the Panthers, as starting right guard Jamon Meredith hurt his ankle in practice. Luckily, Meredith was able to play and the Bucs avoided a fourth change at right guard since the start of the preseason. The rash of injuries at that position started when Pro Bowler Davin Joseph was lost for the year with a knee injury in the preseason.
