In local Combine news, former Florida Gator running back Chris Rainey and former South Florida running back Darrell Scott received their official measurements in Indianapolis today.

Rainey measured out at 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds. His NFL.com scouting report mentions that Rainey could challenge the record for fastest 40-yard dash time at the Combine, which is currently 4.24 seconds held by Chris Johnson set in 2008. With a good enough workout, NFL.com feels he could move up into the middle rounds.

As for Darrell Scott, he comes into the Combine at 6-foot-0 and 231 pounds. The power back left South Florida a year early, and he will be looking to show that it was a good decision during the Sunday workout. He has been left out of most mock drafts, so improving his stock will be crucial.
