Indianapolis quarterbacks coach Ron Turner and University of Virginia offensive coordinator Bill Lazor are the two finalist to fill the offensive coordinator position on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coaching staff, says Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com Tuesday.
"Turner, who was Chicago’s offensive coordinator from 2005 to 2009, was with Indianapolis the past two seasons. He was the Colts' quarterbacks coach in 2011 after serving as wide receivers coach the previous year.
"Lazor is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Virginia. He had spent 2001-09 as an NFL assistant, most recently coaching quarterbacks for Seattle (2008-09) and Washington (2006-07)."
Meanwhile, Pro Football Talk's Michael David Smith says that:
"Schiano is expected to bring in four members of his old Rutgers coaching staff to Tampa Bay: P.J. Fleck (receivers), Bob Fraser (linebackers), Brian Angelichio (tight ends) and Jeff Haley (defensive backs)."
