Kellen Winslow Trade Rumors: Tight End Has No Preferred Destination, According To Report

Stay connected for news and updates

In the wake of the news that Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to trade tight end Kellen Winslow, the next logical question is where does he want to go? According to a post by Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the tight end has no preferred destination to where he will be traded.

Winslow has said that he would prefer to keep his current contract. He has a non-guaranteed base salaries over the next three seasons of $3.3 million, $4.5 million and $5.5 million respectively.

Winslow should be able to generate some interest in him given that many teams are attempting to emulate the New England Patriots' style of using a pair of pass-catching tight ends. However, he may have to lower his expectations on salary to be traded.
