This is the point before the regular season when all teams are trying to shore things up where they are weak. If the Buccaneers plan to bounce back from their disappointing season in 2011, which led to coaching changes over the offseason, they should plan to be active in adding pieces from veterans released by other teams.

Ted Larsen, Derek Hardman and OT Jamon Meredith were among the offensive linemen competing for Davin Joseph's position at left guard, since he recently had surgery to repair his torn meniscus. The Bucs could be looking for veteran releases to help fill this void.
