The experts aren't giving the Buccaneers much of a shot against the Giants on Sunday.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to take on the New York Giants in an intriguing Week 2 match up — pitting the defending Super Bowl champions against a seemingly reinvigorated Buccaneers squad under new coach Greg Schiano. But NFL experts from around the web are having none of the early Buccaneer hype.
All 12 of the ESPN experts, as well as the Accuscore computer and Pick 'Em game participants, are going with the Giants to take the victory on Sunday at home. The meeting represents one of just three matchups on the extended weekend that has a unanimous pick among the 14 participants.
No one at CBSSports.com wants to take a flyer on the Buccaneers new era, either, as all of their best NFL minds went with the Giants on the weekend. Even the CBS Sports Prediction Machine is going with the defending champs.
And to top it all off, Yahoo! Sports' comparably small crowd of three NFL experts are still going with the Giants.
