The Buccaneers had three players on their injury report on Thursday: wide receiver Arrelious Benn (knee), Anthony Gaitor, E.J. Biggers. Benn was the only one to have full participation in practice on Thursday, while Gaitor and Biggers were both limited.

Tampa Bay opens its season against the Panthers on Sunday. Carolina had four players listed on its injury report: wide receiver Steve Smith (full practice participation), linebacker Jon Beason (full practice participation), running back Jonathan Stewart (did not participate in practice) and center Jeff Byers (did not participate in practice)

Game statuses for players on the injury report were not available.
