Panthers Vs. Bucs Score: Tampa Bay Leads 13-7 Heading To 4th

Stay connected for news and updates

The Carolina Panthers got on the board in the third quarter but it is the Buccaneers who still hold a 13-7 advantage heading to the fourth quarter. After being bottled up for much of the game, Cam Newton and company finally got on track with a 70 yard drive that resulted in a 22-yard scoring pass to Brandon Lafell.

Despite not being able to put any points on the board in the quarter, Tampa Bay kept control of the game by forcing two turnovers coming on a pair of interceptions by Newton. Ronde Barber came up with the first pick while Ahmad Black closed out the third quarter with a pick of his own.

The Buccaneers still don't have a turnover in the game and now have about a 12 minute advantage in time of possession.
