The Tampa Bay Lightning are eliminated from the playoffs, but they're hoping to finish up the season by stringing together some wins.
The Tampa Bay Lightning are on a two-game winning streak and hoping to build on it to finish out their season on a high note, despite being eliminated from playoff contention. The Lightning were able to play spoiler in their last win over the Washington Capitals, but the Montreal Canadiens like the Lightning don't really have anything to play for but pride at this point.
The Canadiens on the other hand are on a four-game losing streak and just trying to win some more games before their disappointing season comes to a close. The Lightning hold a 2-1 lead over the Canadiens in the regular season series, so the Canadiens can tie it up with a win on Wednesday night.
