The division race comes down to the final day of the regular season.

The Rays were eliminated on Monday night after the Oakland A's took care of business against the Texas Rangers, but that doesn't mean they still can't help decide some of the postseason.

A win by the Rays on Wednesday over the Baltimore Orioles would hand the division to the Yankees, regardless of what New York does.

AL East Standings

New York 94 67 .583 0 Won 3
Baltimore 93 68 .577 1 Won 1
Tampa Bay 89 72 .552 5 Lost 2
Toronto 72 89 .447 22 Won 2
Boston 69 92 .428 25 Lost 7

Also at stake in the Rays' game on Wednesday is the top seed in the American League. A win by Baltimore would keep the Orioles alive for the best record in the AL. As of now, the Orioles, Yankees, A's and Rangers all have a shot at it.
