The Rays just signed the most important starting pitcher of the year when they handed Matt Moore a massive-in-length, minimal-in-cost 8-year contract.
Moore's early fan projections at Fangraphs.com have him pitching 150 innings of 3.20 ERA ball. Needless to say: Awesome.
Am I jinxing lefty Moore when I compare him to bird-killing Mega Ace Randy Johnson? Of course I am! Is he capable of overcoming every jinxing I throw his way? Moore than of course.
