The Tampa Bay Rays open a three game series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Tuesday night. Can David Price lead the Rays on the mound to another victory?

The Tampa Bay Rays have been playing some spirited offense lately, especially with runners in scoring position. In the last five games the Rays are hitting .316 with runners on either second or third base. They will need that offense against the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night as they begin a three game series at Tropicana Field in St. Petersberg, Fla.

David Price takes the hill on Tuesday night with a 2-1 record so far this season with an ERA of 4.20. In his last start, Price pitched 5 and two-thirds innings allowing two runs in a win against the Toronto Blue Jays. In four starts against the Angels, Price has gone 2-2 with a 4.37 ERA over his career.

The Angels will trot out Ervin Santana to the mound for Tuesday's game, Santana has started off a little weak this season, going 0-3 with a 6.75 ERA. His last start was a 7 inning loss against the Oakland Athletics. In that game he allowed 4 runs, but the Angels offense could not provide much run support for him.

Tuesday's game is scheduled for a 7:10 first pitch. Television coverage will be provided by Sunshine Sports, with radio coverage on WDAE 620 AM.
