The Tampa Bay Rays start a two-game set with the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night.
Morrow earned a win in all four of his last starts. During that same stretch the Blue Jays' right-hander has allowed just two earned runs in 27 innings of work. That included a complete game against the Angels on May 3, and a 10 strike out performance against the Athletics in his last start on May 9.
The last time Morrow allowed more than a single earned run was April 18, against the Rays. In that game, Tampa tagged him for six earned runs in six innings, including three home runs.
Right-hander Jeff Niemann gets the call for Tampa Bay. He held the Yankees to just one run in his last start, but failed to get a decision after seven innings of work in the Rays' 5-2 win. He allowed two earned runs in an April 17 loss to the Blue Jays, the last time he faced Toronto.
The game is schedule to begin at 7:07 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Sun Sports network.
