Less than 24 hours after the Boston Red Sox dealt a crushing blow to the Tampa Bay Rays with a walk-off win, the Rays flipped the script, with Sean Rodriguez's two-run homer in the top of the ninth to propel the Rays to a 4-3 win Sunday afternoon.

The Rays opened the scoring in the top of the fourth with an RBI groundout by Ben Zobrist. A Will Rhymes RBI single in the top of the seventh increased the lead to 2-0.

Jeremy Hellickson cruised through the first six innings, however he stumbled in the seventh, allowing a three-run home run to Adrian Gonzalez to give the Red Sox a 3-2 lead. Hellickson finished the game with 7.2 innings pitched while allowing seven hits and striking out three.

In the top of the ninth, the Rays would get their revenge. After walking the lead-off hitter, Zobrist, Boston closer Alfredo Aceves was able to get one out before yielding the game-winning home run to Rodriguez. Tampa Bay closer Fernando Rodney rebounded with a clean ninth to pick up the save.

The Rays will return home to face the Chicago White Sox Monday afternoon.
