Rays Vs. Indians: Tampa's Bats Hope To Duplicate Friday Evening's Hit Parade

The Tampa Bay Rays (44-40) broke out of lengthy slump with a 10-3 victory on Friday night, and now look to repeat the feat Saturday against the Cleveland Indians (43-40) at Progressive Field. Before Friday evening's offensive explosion, Tampa Bay was hitting .209 as a team over their last 11 games, averaging just 2.9 runs per game.

Matt Moore (5-5, 4.17) will take the mound for the Rays, making his first career appearance against Cleveland. The rookie left-hander has won his last four decisions, and has a 3.18 ERA in his last seven starts.

For the Indians, Ubaldo Jimenez (7-7, 4.59 ERA) will be on the bump. Jimenez has also been pitching well of late, with a 2.93 ERA in his past six starts.
