The Tampa Bay Rays finish up their three-game set against the Baltimore Orioles with an Thursday afternoon tilt at Camden Yards. The Rays will send Jeremy Hellickson to the mound, while the Orioles counter with Wei-Yin Chen. Hellickson checks in at 8-10 on the season with a 3.33 ERA, while Chen comes in at 12-9 with a 4.09 ERA.

In four meetings with the Orioles this season, Hellickson has beaten Baltimore once this season, lost twice and scored one no-decision. Chen has one victory and two losses against Tampa Bay.

With the American League East race tightening, both teams are in serious need of a victory. They'll face each other again in a three-game series in Tampa to close out the season. Few expected Baltimore to be in the AL East race this late in the year, and Thursday afternoon's game could go a long way to determining whether they remain in the hunt.
