UCF vs. Memphis 2012 preview: Knights look to stay undefeated in Conference USA

The Central Florida Knights take on the Memphis Tigers on Saturday night to stay in the lead of Conference USA's Eastern Division.

The Central Florida Knights (4-2 overall) hope to stay undefeated in Conference USA play Saturday against the Memphis Tigers (1-5). The Knights enter the game with a 2-0 record in conference play and is leading Conference USA's East Division.

Last week, the Knights outlasted the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, 38-31 in two overtime periods thanks to a game-clinching interception by Kemal Ishmael. Quarterback Brad Bortles completed 27-of-40 passes for 272 yards and recorded a pair of rushing touchdowns. Running back Storm Johnson ran for 94 yards and a touchdown while fellow running back Latavius Murray ran for both of the Knights' overtime touchdowns.

The Tigers on the other hand enter the game 1-1 in the conference and are coming off a 41-7 loss to the East Carolina Pirates last Saturday. The lone touchdown the Tigers scored was a three-yard touchdown run by running back Jai Steib.
