Central Florida will play its first Conference USA game of the season against East Carolina on Thursday.

The Central Florida Knights begin Conference USA action against East Carolina on Thursday. It's the first conference game of the season for UCF, but the Panthers hold a 2-0 record in conference play going into this matchup. This will be the Knights' second Thursday game of the season, as they opened up with a 56-14 win at Akron Aug. 30.

History says UCF-ECU could be a turnover riddled game. Six of the last eight meetings between the Knights and the Pirates have produced at least four-combined turnovers, so both teams will want to pay extra attention to ball security.

ECU's wins have come against Appalachian State, Southern Mississippi and University of Texas-El Paso. UCF is coming off a 21-16 loss to the Missouri Tigers, while holding victories over Akron and Florida International.

The game can be seen live on CBS. Check out these listings for local radio coverage:

740-AM - Orlando
540-AM - Maitland
1350-AM - Clearwater
1340-AM - Daytona Beach
770-AM - Fort Myers
