College basketball schedule: Bulls host Bulldogs on Friday night

South Florida will try to up its record to 5-2 against Georgia on Friday night.

There are a handful of local college basketball games this weekend, starting with the South Florida Bulls hosting Georgia on Friday night.

Friday, Nov. 30:

South Florida vs. Georgia, 7 p.m.
The Bulls enter action with a 4-2 record, while the Bulldogs are just 2-4. South Florida has won two games in a row, with wins against Bradley and Stetson. Georgia recently snapped a four-game losing streak when it beat East Tennessee State last Friday, 54-38.

Saturday, Dec. 1:

Miami at Massachusetts, 2 p.m.
The Hurricanes have been strong to start the season, rolling out with a 4-1 record. Their only loss came against Florida Gulf Coast on Nov. 13, 63-51. Miami has won three games in a row, including an upset over No. 13 Michigan State on Wednesday. The Minutemen enter the game with a 3-2 record are coming off a 64-63 win over Siena on Wednesday.

Florida A&M vs. Bethune-Cookman, 6 p.m.
The Rattlers started their season with a five-game losing streak, but broke that trend with a win over Presbyterian last weekend. Jamie Adams is the team's leading scorer, averaging almost 18 points per game. Bethune-Cooman is 2-5 and has lost two in a row.

UCF Knights vs. Florida Tech, 4 p.m.
After starting the season 3-0, the Knights have lost two in a row. Their most recent loss came against No. 7 Florida, 79-66, last Friday. UCF has been led by guard Isaiah Sykes this season. He's averaging 16 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Forward Keith Clanton has also been a force, averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds per game.

Sunday, Dec. 2:

Florida State vs. Mercer, 2 p.m.
The Seminoles will try to get back on track Sunday afternoon against Mercer. Florida State is coming off a 77-68 loss to No. 21 Minnesota on Tuesday. The Seminoles had won four in a row before the loss. The Bears enter the game with a 3-4 record. They dropped below .500 when they lost to No. 25 New Mexico, 76-58, on Wednesday.
