After falling just short against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers bounced back nicely this past Sunday with a resounding 31-16 win over the Carolina Panthers. In Week 11, Raheem Morris and the upstart Bucs head all the way across the country to take on the San Francisco 49ers. At 3-6, the 49ers are very much alive in the NFC West. Since Troy Smith was inserted into the lineup at quarterback, the 49ers have won two straight. Winning on the road against a 49ers team that's much better than their record suggests would be an impressive accomplishment for Tampa Bay.
Let's get our Week 11 preview coverage with a few notes, trends and figures about the two teams' series history, as well as up-to-date stats for both squads.
