We already know that Raheem Morris has an injury problem with his defense, but does he also have a discipline problem with his players? For the third time this year, a Tampa Bay Buccaneer player has been arrested by acting foolish out late at night. Late Sunday night/early Monday morning, Linebacker Geno Hayes was arrested following an altercation outside a nightclub in Tampa, according to the online records of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office.
The Tampa Tribune is reporting that Hayes was asked to leave the Blue Martini nightclub at International Plaza Mall by the management around 2am, when the police arrived they escorted Hayes from the building but said he was belligerent and aggressive in the parking lot. Police then warned Hayes that he would be arrested if he did not leave the premises but Hayes returned to the nightclub a short time later. Police used a stun gun to subdue the 255lb linebacker after repeatedly warning him they would do so if he did not cooperate.
Hayes was charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanor offenses. He posted a $750 bail and was released around 5am Monday morning.
