Rowdies MF Jeremy Christie on the verge of making history with New Zealand

While everyone is focused on the United States' thrilling victory yesterday in Pretoria (and rightfully so), you should keep an eye out for Tampa Bay Rowdies MF Jeremy Christie, as his New Zealand squad controls their own destiny against Paraguay today at 10:00 on ESPN2. Christie has come off the bench for New Zealand in both games so far in Group E.

If the All-Whites defeat Paraguay, the 83rd ranked New Zealanders would have to be the lowest ranked team ever to make it to the Round of 16.

You can catch Richard Farley's preview on the match here, and I hope you guys will root for the Kiwi's not only for Christie, but because they might bring out the haka today as well.
