The Charlotte Stone Crabs, Florida State League (A) affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays just issued the following statement via it's official Twitter account:
Tampa Bay Rays phenom Jeremy Hellickson reported to Charlotte this afternoon to begin the process of becoming a reliever. He will pitch out of the bullpen for the Stone Crabs before rejoining the Rays when rosters expand on September 1.
