2010 NFL Injury Updates: Bucs Injury News

Starting quarterback Josh Freeman missed the Jaguars game with a broken thumb. He is expected to miss the final preseason game in Houston, but should be ready to practice for opening day against Cleveland.  Some believe Freeman will be playing through some pain.  If he's not ready to go against the Browns, Josh Johnson will be the guy.

Wide receiver Maurice Stovall missed the third preseason game as well with a sore ankle.

Right guard Davin Joseph has been battling a hip flexor, and did not play Saturday. Jeremy Zuttah started in his place. Zuttah lost his starting job at left guard to Keydrick Vincent last week and will likely be used as a backup this year anywhere along the O-line.

Linebacker Jon Alston missed the game for an undisclosed reason.

Also Saturday, the Bucs lost backup safety Sabby Piscitelli to a mild concussion in the fourth quarter.
