CHARLOTTE, NC - The Bucs and Panthers released the first injury reports of the game week on Wednesday. Kellen Winslow and Roy Miller did not practice, and Kareem Huggins was a limited participant. Head coach Raheem Morris told reporters that Winslow's abscence was planned as part of an effort to help his surgically repaired knee remain healthy. Roy Miller was sick, and Huggins has a groin injury that limited him.
Quarterback Josh Freeman continued to improve from his thumb injury and was a full participant in practice and the Bucs believe he will not be limited in any way the rest of the week.
The Buccaneers are relatively healthy heading into Sunday.
For the Carolina Panthers, Quarterback Matt Moore was a limited participant in practice. Moore is recovering from a week one concussion and is still questionable despite being able to get back to practice. The league has been increasingly careful with players coming off concussions in recent years so the possibility that rookie Jimmy Clausen may make his first start is still very real.
Four Panthers did not practice; DE Tyler Brayton, WR Brandon LaFell, DT Louis Leonard, and OT Jeff Otah.
