USF Picked To Finish 14th In Big East Basketball Preseason Poll

The Big East had their media day this week, and that always includes the rolling out of preseason all-conference teams, the player of the year, and the hotly contested preseason polls. Our South Florida blog Voodoo Five has the results of the preseason poll, and they don't look very good for the Bulls.

The Bulls were picked to finish 14th among the 16 teams in the Conference. For comparisons sake, most Conferences don't even have 14 teams. Here is the complete poll, with the number of vote points each team received.

T-1. UConn (7)        209
T-1. Syracuse (5) 209
3. Louisville (3)        201
4. Pittsburgh (1)      188
5. Cincinnati           169
6. Marquette          155
7. West Virginia      132
8. Villanova            127
9. Notre Dame        114
10. Georgetown      104
11. Rutgers              75
12. St. John’s          71
13. Seton Hall          56
14. USF                   43
15. Providence        40
16. DePaul              27

Looks like the picks are the same as they always are. The conference's blue-bloods are up top while the rest of the teams struggle for attention.
