Week 8 NFL Power Rankings: Buccaneers Fall Out Of Top Half In ESPN's Latest

It’s Tuesday which means the roll out of a new set of NFL Power Rankings. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who lost to the Chicago Bears 24-20 in Week 7, naturally fell in most lists. Multiple media outlets however kept the Buccaneers in the top half of the league. FOX was less kind, sliding Tampa Bay all the way down to No. 18.

Let’s take a look at where Raheem Morris’ squad is ranked in ESPN’s latest Power Rankings..

Ranking (Last Week): 18 (12).
Record: 4-3
Comment: Josh Freeman has four more INTs through six games than he had in 16 games last season. (Sando)

After losing two of their past three, the Buccaneers now enter their bye week before returning to action in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints. They remain at home the following two weeks as well to host the Houston Texans and the Green Bay Packers. Needless to say, we’ll know a lot more about whether the Bucs are ready to make good on their guarantee of making the playoffs in this next calendar month.
