2011 NFL Power Rankings, Week 8: Buccaneers Fall Out Of Top Ten After Loss To Bears

A week after knocking off the New Orleans Saints, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell short in Week 7 to the Chicago Bears. The 24-18 defeat in London was the second loss for Tampa Bay in the United Kingdom. Josh Freeman played poorly in the loss, completing just 29-of-51 passing attempts for 264 yards and 4 interceptions. Freeman now has 10 interceptions in 7 games. That’s four more than he had in a full 16-game schedule in 2010.

Let’s take a look at how CBS dinged the Buccaneers for their latest loss in its Week 8 Power Rankings.

Comment: Two trips to London and two bad games for Josh Freeman. They might want to avoid the other side of the pond.

The Buccaneers now have two weeks to collect themselves and recuperate from the trip overseas. They better be ready to go when they return to action in Week 9, as a road trip to New Orleans awaits. You know the Saints will be looking for payback from the Week 6 defeat.
