2011 NFL Power Rankings, Week 5: Buccaneers Move Up To No. 8

The NFL Power Rankings for Week 5 are rolling in, and in SB Nation's latest edition, the Bucs crack the top ten.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came into this season as a little bit of a question mark. They had some success last year, but they are still the youngest team in the NFL and nobody knew how they would respond to their success. Well, at the quarterpole of the season, the Bucs are 3-1, which is about all you can ask for. SB Nation just came out with the Week 5 edition of their 2011 NFL Power Rankings, and they have the Bucs in the top ten at number eight. Here is what they have to say.

It wasn't pretty but the Bucs and LeGarrette Blount took care of business against the Colts on Monday Night Football. They have a brutal schedule coming up against a handful of 3-1 teams.

That upcoming schedule they talk about is no joke. Their next game against the 49ers might not be too difficult, but then they have the Saints, the Bears, a bye, the Saints again, the Texans and the Packers. This stretch of games should help define who the Bucs are once and for all.
