Wake Forest Vs. Florida State: Seminoles Aim To Bounce Back Against ACC Foe

The Seminoles (2-2) have lost two straight games. Can they end their slide against the surging Demon Deacons?

Two ACC teams headed in opposite directions clash when the No. 23-ranked Florida State Seminoles visit the Wake Forest Demon Deacons this Saturday a 12:30 PM. The ACC Network will provide the television coverage.

After a 2-0 start with victories against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks and the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, FSU has tumbled to the .500 mark with consecutive losses by a combined 15 points. Florida State had a bye last week, so it ought to be refreshed and ready.

Wake Forest is riding high. It owns a 3-1 record, including three straight victories. Further raising the stakes for Saturday's game, the Demon Deacons own a 2-1 record in ACC play, while the Seminoles are 0-1 to date.

However, the teams Wake Forest has defeated--the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs, N.C. State Wolfpack, and Boston College Eagles--have a combined record of 1-7, so it has benefitted from a favorable early schedule.
