The South Florida Bulls are 2-0 after beating up on the Marist Red Foxes 81-67. The big story from this game was Victor Rudd, who scored an efficient 30 points while only attempting five free throws in 33 minutes of playing time. Our South Florida blog Voodoo Five has a little bit more information on the newest South Florida star.

The 6'8" transfer from Arizona State had a dominant performance for the Bulls, going 11-21 from the field. Rudd was able to find his shot from anywhere on the court, including going 3-8 from behind the arc. While it is against a lesser opponent in Marist, you can't help but to get excited about his potential after his performances the last two games. Rudd easily looks like the scorer we desperately missed last season. The next two games against Old Dominion and possibly Kentucky will give us a good idea about his talent level.

Rudd had to sit out last year because of that transfer. He only had 12 points in the Bulls' first game, but this is a much better introduction to the South Florida fans. For more on the Bulls, head over to Voodoo Five.
