The ACC title game is starting to come into focus. The Clemson Tigers locked up the Atlantic Division and a berth in the title game weeks ago but the Coastal Division still has to be decided. The Virginia Tech Hokies took care of business on Thursday night, holding off a fourth quarter rally by North Carolina to escape 24-21 in Blacksburg. Their cross-state rival, the Virginia Cavaliers, look to keep their title hopes alive in Tallahassee. A Cavaliers win on Saturday night would set up a winner-take-all rivalry game for the Coastal next week in Charlottesville. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 at Doak Campbell Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
With the Atlantic Division wrapped up, Clemson finishes it's ACC schedule in Raleigh against North Carolina State. At 5-5, the Wolfpack are looking to gain bowl eligibility in what could be Tom O'Brien's final season. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 and the game will be broadcast nationally on ABC.
Elsewhere in the ACC, Boston College and Miami travel out-of-conference. The Eagles will face rival Notre Dame in South Bend, with kickoff schedule for 4:00 on NBC. The Canes travel across Florida to face the Bulls at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3:30 with ESPNU carrying the game.
