USF Vs. Miami: Bulls Will Have #ALLTHERECRUITS At Today's Game

Since this is the last Saturday home game of the season, the South Florida Bulls have picked today’s game as the Miami Hurricanes as the one they want to show off to potential recruits. According to Josh Newberg of USF recruiting site Bulls247.com (subscription required, although a free trial is available), there may be as many as 22 players that the Bulls are targeting from the Classes of 2012 and 2013 in attendance. (That’s not counting any recruits that Miami might have in the crowd for themselves.)

This just makes a big game even bigger. USF would be bowl-eligible with a win and would claim a victory over one of the “Big 3” in Florida for the third year in a row. But with Miami’s recent struggles on and off the field, the Bulls are starting to get into some recruiting battles with the Hurricanes that they hadn’t been able to compete in before. While Florida and Florida State still dominate in-state recruiting, there’s still plenty of talent to go around. A win might not mean much for either team this season, but it could mean a lot more for both teams in high schools and living rooms across Florida.
