Buccaneers Vs. Saints: Tampa Bay Looks For Season Sweep Of Rival New Orleans

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will to New Orleans this weekend looking for a season sweep of the NFC South Division leading Saints.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers stand at a very confusing 4-3 on the Season, but one of those wins came against the division leading New Orleans Saints not so long ago in Week 6. The Bucs will have an opportunity to earn a Season sweep (which could be pretty big if the Division comes down to the wire) when they head to New Orleans this weekend. The game will be played at 1 ET and can be seen on Fox.

The Bucs won the last game 26-20 behind what was arguably the strongest performance Josh Freeman has had all season long. He finished 23-41 (not great) for 303 yards and two touchdowns (pretty good), but most importantly no interceptions. Earnest Graham had over 100 rushing yards, but he won't be available to play in this one.

Drew Brees put up a lot of yards, 383 to be exact, but he had only one touchdown to three interceptions. The Bucs bent but didn't break against the Saints last time, and were very strong against the run. They'll have to have a similarly strong performance to earn another win against the explosive Saints.

We'll have more on this game throughout the week in this StoryStream. For more on the Bucs, head over to our Tampa Bay blog Bucs Nation. For more on the Saints, check out Canal Street Chronicles.
