USF vs. Louisville: B.J. Daniels Warming Up, Still Game-Time Decision

Adam Adkins of the Tampa Tribune reports that South Florida Bulls quarterback B.J. Daniels is on the field and warming up with the other QBs for this morning’s game against the Louisville Cardinals. Daniels left last Saturday’s game against the Miami Hurricanes with a bruise of the AC joint in his right (throwing) shoulder and was considered day-to-day following the injury.

Daniels is still expected to be a game-time decision, and may just be warming up to see if his shoulder can handle the work. If he’s able to play, it would be a huge boost to USF as they try to win their sixth game of the year and claim bowl eligibility. Otherwise, backup Bobby Eveld will get his second career start, and the Bulls may have to pare down the playbook significantly and play a much different game in order to win.

With kickoff only an hour away, we should know soon who will be under center when the game starts.
