The Miami Dolphins dropped their second game in three weeks to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, losing 26-10. The loss means the Dolphins overall record falls to 4-9. If the 2011 NFL season ended today, the Miami Dolphins would have the 7th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. This would potentially put the Dolphins right in play for one of the top quarterbacks in the 2012 NFL Draft class, but it's also potentially far enough out to miss on one.

Currently however the Dolphins are tied with five other teams, record wise. The 'Phins are tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, Washington Redskins, and the Cleveland Browns. Based on current strength of schedule, the Dolphins would hold the SOS tie breaker over a couple of the other teams they are currently tied with.
