NBA Free Agency: Magic One Of Four Teams Dwight Howard Would Sign With

The orlando Magic are reportedly involved with other teams in trade discussions for Dwight Howard but their preference, obviously, would be to re-sign the dominant center in Orlando. According to our very own Orlando Pinstriped Post, the Magic are in fact one of the four teams that Howard would reportedly sign an extension with after this contract.

The Orlando Magic are one of the four teams to which Dwight Howard would consider committing long-term, according to a sourced report from ESPN's Chris Broussard, further indicating the team's franchise center may not have decided to leave Orlando after all. Howard's decision will come down to Orlando, the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, and New Jersey Nets, Broussard says; no other teams are in the running.

Howard re-signing with the Magic is apparently contingent on the team making enough moves to make the roster competitive before he elects to put ink to paper on that new contract. Whether or not they'll be able to do that before a decision must be made on is future remains to be seen.
