Jaguars Vs. Falcons Score Update: Jacksonville Returns Blocked Punt To End Shutout, Trails 41-7 After Three Quarters

The Jacksonville Jaguars finally got on the board Thursday night, when their special teams blocked an Atlanta punt and returned it 46 yards for the score. It ended the shutout, but the score is still far from respectable, as Atlanta now leads 41-7.

Zach Potter was the Jaguar who scooped up the bouncing ball with daylight, taking it down the field untouched for the score. With the offense struggling mightily behind Blaine Gabbert, it's the lone highlight in an abysmal night for the Jaguars. Video of the special teams touchdown below:

While the score may have cut into the Falcons lead, Atlanta is hardly concerned as backup quarterback Chris Redman has come in for starter Matt Ryan, who had 224 yards and three touchdowns in less than three quarters. Running back Michael Turner's night is likely over as well. It's 41-7 as they head to the final quarter.
